Technical Theatre Internship – $40 per week

This week-long program gives students the opportunity to learn about the different technical elements that are involved in creating a piece of theatre.  Students will choose an area to study, and throughout the week will learn some of the technique and theory involved, as well as designing and building their chosen area for that week’s Summer Musical Theatre Day Camp performance.  This program is great for beginners who want to learn about the different “backstage” jobs, or for students who want to hone their skills in an area they may have tried before.  Areas of study include: Costume Design, Properties Design, Set Design, Hair and Makeup Design, Lighting Design, Sound Design, and Stage Management.  Upon completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Recognition and Letter of Recommendation from the Summer Program Coordinator.

This week-long program is a perfect introduction for beginners to musical theatre, and is also a great way for seasoned actors and actresses to hone their skills.  Students will put on a show at the end of the week for family and friends, combining the triple threat training (singing, acting and dancing) that they will learn throughout the week.  Students will have the opportunity to perform onstage with theatrical lights, costumes, props, and a set they create themselves.


Theatre Impossible


Ages 10-15

  • Aug 13-17 AND 20-24

In this exciting two-week program, students will create their very own musical to perform at the Art on the Farm Festival in Columbia Valley on Aug 24.  No musical theatre experience is necessary as students will receive classes in singing, dancing and acting.  Students will also learn about and design their own costumes, sets, props, as well as playwrighting and character development exercises through exciting, hands-on activities.
