Jeff Hanson – Chair
Jeff is a father of three children who have all participated at various levels of CSOPA. He is an educator who graduated from Dickinson State University with a B.Sc. Degree in Speech/Theatre. Jeff has been involved in theatre for many years, whether it is performing on stage, being part of a stage crew, directing, and, one of his favourite things, being a patron of the Arts. Jeff is thrilled that his children carry on the love of being involved with live theatre. He enjoys being on the CSOPA board and values the work ALL of the stakeholders put into making the CSOPA family what it is.
Vicky Jensen – Vice-chair
Vicky Jensen works in administration at Royal LePage Wheeler Cheam. Her daughter joined CSOPA in 2008 at 5 years old and it has been an important part of her life ever since. She is truly excited and passionate about what CSOPA offers young people in our community and is honoured to be involved with such an amazing organization.
Alicia Champ – Secretary/Treasurer
Alicia Champ is a local Chilliwack Lampwork Bead and Wire Work artist, Mom of 3 and Teacher of many. She is well known in the local art community as well as internationally.
As an instructor at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre and her home studio, through live demonstrations and jewellery making magazine projects she shares her passion for glass and wire with the world.
Kirsten Rempel is a teacher at Sts’ailes Community School in Agassiz. Her teenage daughter, Avery, is in her sixth year with CSOPA; and since Kirsten is sadly too old to be enrolled in CSOPA herself, she has become involved behind the scenes as a member of the Board, and as a vocal and persistent 50/50 raffle ticket seller.
Keely Speton Harvey
Keely has been bringing her kids to CSOPA since 2010. As the years have passed from Jumpstart programs to Mainstage, CSOPA and its people have become an important part of her family’s life. She is excited to see CSOPA’s continued growth in our community and to share the important role the arts play in enriching the lives of all people.
Jamea Lister – Ad Hoc consultant for company history and productions
Jamea has been involved in CSOPA almost since the very beginning. He works as a theatre tech and we have benefited from his skills for many years. When he isn’t dressed in black, teching shows, you can find him at the model train club or playing board games or Lego.
